South of the lake?

Old Dixie Rice farm? That's the only place consistently killing.

That's in the marsh. From what I heard...they killed hit and miss, I wouldn't call it good.

We only had one marsh blind. All the others were in the fields.

Eat: I thought you were replying to me

Eta: we were still able to access all the blinds with an ATV

That is indeed the new hot spot but what sucks arse is making that drive and then there are no birds.

Y'all killed your specks pretty consistently. That should be a given right there. Probably killed big ducks on a good SW wind.

You got one of the last good spots down there. Don't burn it out.

Good for y'all!

The rice fields North of you suck now.

You apparently know the area well enough that if I gave you the exact road you would know exactly where I’m talking about.

I did a job back there a couple years ago, had some whooping cranes hanging around for awhile, those things are huge, you might be hunting in the fields I worked in

All the marsh impoundments out there intended to stave off salinity intrusion actually are killing the marsh by holding too much water on them. Marshes need to breath and experience high and low water periods. Now all the marsh out that way just has high water all the time. Would not buy, won’t be marsh in 15 years without an intervention.
