Granted I don’t buy a lot of marsh property but this was interesting to me

Is that the piece that borders Grosse Savanna? That’s been for sale for years

Does that property include the area of that CPRA marsh creation?

Educate me, what does a private marsh get you?

And why would you stock it?

Interesting, I didn’t know that was an option with property like that. I guess they are just highlighting a small portion that’s private

In the shitty state of LA you can own marsh that has free flowing water.

It’s basically a lake not connected to any other waterway.

I can understand that, it just seems funny to me to boast it as being “stocked” in a 7 million dollar listing

They probably have a lake in the marsh that is stocked like Grosse Savanne. However, they also have free flowing private marsh.

No, the CPRA/USFISH marsh is a little north and east of Grand Bayou or 5-6 miles south of this property.
Maintenance on that property will be a killer every year.
Dore' property is in Johnson Bayou.

Yeah it does. They over fished the crap out of the lake. (Big Lake) not their private marsh.
