Some fun is completely fine and normal. Too much fun is a big red flag in my book. Especially when the girl hits the wall and you go through some tougher times in a relationship. Better believe she'll be seeking validation elsewhere.

Always be very leery of the single never married no kids 30 something who begins her short story with "first, I don't need a man to take care of me, I can do that myself... I want to find love".
They're not broken, but they are disassembled. Tread lightly.

I guess she wrote all of that stuff because her article would have been pretty short if she had said "you're single because you haven't found the right person yet. Some find their person early in life, and for some it takes longer. Some are never lucky enough to find the right person. The end."

well there are some legitimate issues with a woman's financial status/ability and a traditional relationship
if a woman has kids, she's destroying her economic viability to a large extent. that is a legitimate conflict and raises legit concerns
having (and raising) kids is basically the difference in men and women's economic stats

I'm pretty surprised at the O-T on this one. Seems like many threads are guys bitching about social pressure to marry and Disney fantasies. Yet here, you have a group of women just kind of doing their thing and they are getting pummelled as juvenile/insecure/looking for validation. Acting this way is no crazier than locking a guy down or marrying because it's what everyone else does.
