Which is what's so sad about it. The children either grow up to be part of the problem, survive and get out, or die trying to flee it.

It's a war zone out there.

That's good. They need to stand up to the gangs. It will be hard and scary. They have to cooperate with police, testify in court, and come together as a community.

Drugs, gang violence, and abortion are the most immediate threats to black lives right now.

As long as the "leaders" are called....sharpton,the jackson clan, clueless liberals,"establishment democrats" and thug "entertainment icons"....the black "community" will continue to feed on its own !
There truly is NO free lunch...one MUST understand and embrace that FACT ! Integrity, personal responsibility, hard work and unwavering persistence...that's the way out,up and beyond for the clusterf$%^ which a good portion of the black community is !
WHERE oh where are the needed LEADERS ??????

Honest question. Are the BLM folks at any of those community rallies or do they only troll the police and local government?

Right. Because some people swear that such anti-violence rallies never happen and I show that they do. Nevermind, they are just mirages that I made up.

e good thing is the majority of these crimes are confined to certain, defined neighborhoods. I've never felt unsafe in the slightest in my neighborhood.

Well then, I believe it's high time that the government steps in and moves these people to your neighborhood in order to get them out of harms way. Maybe if they felt safe in their neighborhoods, they wouldn't feel the need to resort to violence.

Those rallies are really making a difference, partner. If those neighborhoods were foreign countries we'd likely impose economic sanctions then send in troops in an attempt to quell the violence. In an American city we depend up community organizers who make a living off this stuff, they need it to continue in order to make a living

Anti-violence rallies are relatively useless unless the "community" has the necessary conviction to curtail the violence....community LEADERS are what's needed to permanently UNITE the caring, working and contributing people to bow up against the thug "culcha", work with police etc. etc.

I am not saying they work any better than what the "white community" does to curtail black violence. I am just effectively dispelling the myth that the black community does not care and does nothing.

But, WHERE are the leaders....national, state and most importantly...LOCAL ?
Not the BLM rable-rousers...I mean legitimate business, educational and government LEADERS ????? The absolute VOID of forward thinkers willing to step up, is absurd !

"Black community" seems to be the term of opportunity lately. I hate all get lumped into one group

Well to be fair, they haven't moved them yet. Only voted to move them. I fully believe that once they are physically moved this problem will cease to exist.

The rallies haven't ever accomplished anything. It's just something to do when they're bored. They go home right after, put on some Tyler Perry movie (that white people don't understand, but is fall down hilarious to black people), and completely forget about the day's goings-on
