I generally take 1 50mg softtab of the Sleep Aid nightly. Works in about an hour. Occasionally, I'll take two if I want to go to sleep faster. The stuff works for me and I don't have to take a prescription sleeping pill.

That’s a lot of fricking benedryl and it’s bullshite you have to take medication because your old lady either:

A. Needs to lose weight
B. Needs CPAP

I buy large quantities of off brand Benadryl at Costco. 50 mg and I take two each night.

Same ingredient that makes you tired as Tylenol PM or NyQuil, but without the other shite.

I can’t sleep without it now unfortunately.

Benadryl works to knock me out BUT causes some crazy as shite dreams.

I consider it a last resort.

I would try 50mg first. If you have any sinus drainage and you take 100 you are going to feel like there is a baseball stuck in you sinuses.

I used to take 200 Mg of Benadryl, 6 melatonins, and 3 shots of NyQuil to sleep

Probably did yourself a favor. You take ambien on a cruise (especially if you have been drinking) and you are gonna sleep walk yourself straight overboard.

I’ve taken MotrinPM every night before bed for the past 10 years or so. I used to take NyQuil before that. I can’t sleep otherwise

I don't know how true it is, but my dad (80) had a nightmare panic episode one night and my mom called me to come calm him down. He was afraid he had taken too much medicine. So we went to ER to get checked out. When the physician asked what all he had taken one of the items was benadryl that he takes every night to sleep. She told us to stop doing that immediately. Instead get liquidtrylenol pm if he had to take anything. She said long term use of benadryl will harm his memory. Like I said just a cautionary tale.

She is saying to use Doxylamine Succinate (original unisom extra strength) instead of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl).

Heard it argued both ways. Both work for me.

I'd rather listen to snoring than a CPAP.

It helps. Same thing that’s In NyQuil that makes you sleepy.

That’s not true. Unless you mean zzquil, which is just Benadryl repackaged and marketed differently. NyQuil doesn’t have diphenhydramine in it.

op, if you take 4 Benadryl’s you may get slightly delusional. I would start with two and see how it goes first.

If you take a large dose of Benadryl (200mg plus) you will get temporarily delirious. Like hallucinating and stuff. Some people take it as a version of a shitty legal high.
