That's a shitton of Benadryl.

Usually 50 mg does the trick.

Benedryl or anything like that isn’t good. It’s fine if you’re sick and have to force sleep but on a daily basis it only causes next day drowsiness anyway and the long term effects can be damaging for other reasons. Prescription sleep aids don’t work at all in the same way

It makes me pretty tired for the next morning as well. Benadryl is the only thing that will absolutely always knock out a bad sneezing, itching type of allergy for me. I think you’d be fine with one if you’re just trying to get to sleep.

It absolutely is NOT the same as NyQuil.

NyQuil has doxylamine succinate. Benadryl is diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
