We have a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and one on the way. The wife has a VW Touran and I have a VW Golf. I can fit two booster seats and a baby seat in my back seat and still have the back for storing stuff. My wife can fit all three in the middle row, and we still have the third row. I don't see the need for a suburban unless you have 5 kids.
Plus I get around 35 mpg and she gets over 40.

About five years ago I saw a Honda oddessy towing a tandom axle trailer with a bay boat on it.
Easily a 10k load. Thpught to myself "well that notoripusly bad transmission has definitely had it now." Until I got on the side of him and saw his plates....ALASKA.

Far from an OT baller so my wife drives a Traverse. It fits a family of 5 comfortably. I drive a car that does not fit a family of 5 as comfortably.

4 door Silverado for me...Sonata for the wife...3 kids full time...have 4 right now...oldest lives with his mom...we use the truck more when he is with us...

Wife has a Honda Odessey and it's great for hauling the kids around and taking long trips
