Zack Baun is going to have to play Kwon’s weakside LB spot

There’s no doubt you could tell he’s made progress from his first year in the preseason games. He playing and not overthinking as much so he plays much faster. I just don’t think he’s going to be good enough to cover guys like Kwon did. I think Chauncey Gardner-Johnson or Malcolm Jenkins will have to help out more covering those backs and TE. CGJ is a much better player when you can let him roam the field and be a playmaker.

I'm glad we have an out in jenkins contract cause he had a bad first game.
He is getting up there in age. Last year he started off slow but then balled out.

I think Baun is going to play well but I hope we can get Werner back next week. He’s much better equipped dropping back in coverage.
