Congrats to him, and hopefully he can build on this success. However, it's much easier to drill kicks when you're blowing a team out. The pressure game winning kicks are what matters in this league, and he is 0-1 on those this season.

Must have been a rough week for special teams in the NFC. Was 2/2 on FG...no one else had a better week?

i guess you aren't gonna factor his game winning kick in preseason correct? "its preseason"... yea yea yea but lets just put that into perspective... his entire kicking career could have been on the line with that singular kick.

He’s been killing it so far. Those kicks in New England were not easy with the wind.

I think we can all agree they made the right decision as far as kicker goes.
There were some on here who still wanted to keep lutz.

I would say the majority here where surprised. I know I was and I don't really remember a big push for the Grouper at the time.

Bump.
The kid can't handle the pressure. Regardless of everything else that needs addressing, we'd still be 5-1 with a competent kicker.

Grupe is the absolute least of our issues. Short term or long term.
