Don’t support a false narrative

I don't see how kneeling and riots endear ANYONE

Kneeling:
A peaceful form of protest in which I don’t mind one bit and has been made clear that the intention of it is not to disrespect the flag or country but bring notice to a serious problem. Somehow it keeps getting labeled as disrespecting the flag which is why the people that are saying that is getting told “you don’t understand” in which I think the correct thing to tell them is “you don’t WANT to understand”.

I think we can all agree that the riots are just plain crazy and I don’t support that one bit.

The kneelers feels like it’s their platform to peacefully protest

Congrats you win 'King of Hyperbole' for the week

complain about the imploding of their beloved team and the complete destruction of their best player?

You can site ZERO evidence that the Saints team has imploded and even less of the complete destruction of Drew.

Your a sh!t stirring hyper hyperbole a-hole.

What makes it false? Yes I understand that police don’t only do it to black people, but does that make it right? No matter who they do it to they should be held accountable if they are wrongfully doing it don’t you think?

It certainly is, but it isn't winning over hearts and minds, now is it? People don't have to like this form of protest, and it doesn't make them racists. I would hope MT knows Brees well enough to understand that, and then again, maybe Brees is a closet racist and MT knows it. He still should have handled it discreetly. The team didn't need this distraction.

I told you my feelings. Try to keep up.

You are ok with how certain payers handled the Brees comments. Im not. I want an ice-cold business like focus and a championship, not a political narrative fleshed out on social media in the most shameful way possible.

You calling me a racist on a message board doesnt change that.

Never called you a racist

And yes you told me your feelings. Stop pretending like I need to “know you”.

You are acting like a lunatic & between making shite up, you can’t even follow a simple discussion.

I thought we were suppose to be the most loyal fan base in fb and after one political controversy we all of a sudden have no desire to watch the saints play?

That goes out the window when players turn the league into a political shite show and alienate everyone.

I’m sick enough to stop watching. I’ve cut cable and haven’t watched news nor will I support the nfl in the same manner I have been the last 40 years.
These past few months have really open my eyes up to how I spend the bulk of my free time. I’m halfway to the grave and I’m tired of dedicated my time and money towards millionaires bitching about equality how whitey needs to confess how their white privileged selfs are only where they are because of their skin color.
I’m not apologizing for anything I haven’t done. I’m “woke”in that regard.
I’m not asking anyone to protest the nfl. I’m not asking anyone for anything, so society can stop asking me, or at least they can stop expecting me to.

If you aren't going to watch the Saints/ NFL anymore, get the frick off this board. Bring your whiny bull shite to politics or the O

OH! So you mean to say that I have to be quiet when the extremism is being FORCED on me via SPORTS.

Yeah... they are the ones bringing politics into sports.

When they stop, I will have nothing to respond to. See how that works?

Then they should not have injected noise into the game.

Bunch of Big White Babies who have never been told no, having a tantrum cause their snowflake asses cannot control human beings anymore.

WHAAAAAHHHHH - Michael Thomas has an opinion and its different than mine - i am sooo offended - lets make 1000 subject posts in which we cry about our feelings and threaten to not watch football anymore just like we have a million times but then never ever have the courage of conviction to deprive ourselves of anything. So of course we watched football WHAAAAAAHHHH.

Things become "political" when they don't drive with your politics.

Maybe when the Saints get out of pushing political shite.

Then we can all move on.
