A peaceful form of protest in which I don’t mind one bit and has been made clear that the intention of it is not to disrespect the flag or country but bring notice to a serious problem. Somehow it keeps getting labeled as disrespecting the flag which is why the people that are saying that is getting told “you don’t understand” in which I think the correct thing to tell them is “you don’t WANT to understand”.
I think we can all agree that the riots are just plain crazy and I don’t support that one bit.

It certainly is, but it isn't winning over hearts and minds, now is it? People don't have to like this form of protest, and it doesn't make them racists. I would hope MT knows Brees well enough to understand that, and then again, maybe Brees is a closet racist and MT knows it. He still should have handled it discreetly. The team didn't need this distraction.

WHAAAAAHHHHH - Michael Thomas has an opinion and its different than mine - i am sooo offended - lets make 1000 subject posts in which we cry about our feelings and threaten to not watch football anymore just like we have a million times but then never ever have the courage of conviction to deprive ourselves of anything. So of course we watched football WHAAAAAAHHHH.
