Hasn't done anything as a head coach? Have you watched the Cardinals the last few years? He took a perennial loser and made them into a consistent winner. They made it to the brink of the Super Bowl last year, and they have one of the best rosters in the league. This is a "what have you done for me lately" league and Aryans has done much more lately than Payton. I would consider this trade for sure.

For Bruce Arians?
I say yes, hell throw in Loomis.
Watching All or Nothing, BA is a hell of a coach.

Arizona would never go for that. Would put them in a worse position than what they are in now.

Would you trade Rankins, Armstead, and Anthony for JJ Watt?

I woulde trade Rankins for Donald or Mccoy
Anthony for Luke K
and Armstead for 2 picks of the litter from the Cowboy OL.

I will also throw in a Jarius Byrd to sweeten the pot.

Nope. LSU players .. Saints have a policy against this.

One reason BA would never work here: he looks too closely at players and their college careers before drafting them. He's a great offensive mind but not schemey enough for New Orleans. We prefer to look at our players as pawns rather than people.

And just for the record, I'm on board with this move. We are 56-40 since the 09 Super Bowl. Tides have turned in the last two seasons yet our fanbase can't forget the hot girl they kissed in the 90s.

Yes he is. And the cards are a very good team but that trade is still silly.
Our stats on the offensive side of the ball are almost even. I would wager the edge they have on points per game is very much due to a great defense and getting TO's vs our pile 'o' sh!t defense.

The answer should be yes.

I would in Denver's case, FWIW, and Gary Kubiak has 3 Super Bowl rings. 1 as a head coach, 2 as an offensive coordinator.

Bruce Arians is a damned good head coach.

Def wouldn't trade Payton for Kubiak, but would love to have Wade as a DC.

I'd only trade Payton fora proven defensive coach to pair with Brees, and there aren't many of them out there. I def wouldn't give up a first Now GM is a different story.

And for the record, I think Arians is the 2nd best coach in the NFL. He still has a lot to accomplish
