Would you rather 8-9 for multiple years or a top 10 pick

Feels like people want instant gratification rather than getting the assets we need to make a run. Tbh I’d rather a top 5 pick than multiple years of being mid.

We need 2-3 pro bowl level players.,, it’s hard to find that drafting in the middle of the pack.

I mean if 8-9 gets you in the playoffs then with the upper management we have I would take that I guess, because I don't trust them to make the right moves even with high draft picks.

But I think NFC South this year will take 10 wins, so it really doesn't matter. Nothing will change

People are really struggling to realize we don't have a gamechanging player on the defense or offense. That guy who can make something happen. We need that guy.

We have Chase Young, and a bunch of average to good players.

DL- Broughton/Miller promising but early, Breese hurt, the rest are mid.

LB- Ellis is good, Werner is solid, Stutsman has been bad.

CB- Koolaid and Sanker are solid. The rest are just average to below avg. no real playmaker in the bunch.

We need an elite interior DL, a legit pass rush option opposite Young.. Grando would be a good DE3, healthy I think we are fine at LB, and we need a true CB1.. probably could upgrade at safety too

Chase young is an above average DE, but he's not an elite. That's what I mean. He's really good, but he won't make teams purely scheme vs him.

Right now defensively - need another DT if bresee isn't it. Need a linebacker for sure. Need a #1cb.

Offensively - need a guard, might need a new RT.

I used to have this mindset but then when you look, the teams drafting in the top 10 dont really change much year to year

Idk he’s been pretty dominant against some of the best tackles in the league so far

Loomis will frick up any top 10 pick

Likely scenario trade a hypothetical 8 to the Titans along with a third and 5th this year then a first 3rd and 5th next year to move up to number 3 and draft a bust

Need a safety too. Need at least 2 guys on the d line. Going to have to figure out the o line. That right side needs to get fixed.

Is this a hypothetical or do we have to do it WITH Mickey Loomis as GM?

Because that has an effect on both propositions.

Top 10 pick - Saints pick a failure and Loomis spends way too much on resigning failures and overrated FA.

8-9 multiple years - Loomis trades away multiple 1sts to pick a failure while spending a bit less to resign past fail picks and overrated FA.

For as much as it costs to attend a game the Saints fans deserve a contender, something the haven’t seen in years.Bring out the bags and make sure GAYLE sees them.

Should the Saints waste draft picks on a RB or other positions of need before the trade deadline?

Should the Saints trade some players before the trade deadline to accumulate some additional picks?

Should the Saints do nothing and win some meaningless games to end the season?

loomis the cuck waited 4 years too long to start rebuilding anyway

what is 2 more years?

i'd tank for Two top 5 picks...........one this year and one next. start tradingh vets for picks as soon as we can dump salary.

we are fricked regardless as LONG as loomis is still in charge of the draft or anything else.

he cannot tank or draft properly. or trade properly.

Nah we shouldn’t waste any assets this year and if we can sell we should.
