Title says is all, would Rita Benson Leblanc have allowed the Saints to fall like this?

I think we were all fooled into thinking she would have been a major problem but there is no way she would have let the Saints become the laughing stock of the league

Probably more like the Colombia Saints. Money was not involved in the sale.

There should be a documentary done about Rita’s time as the “owner in waiting” for the Saints. It would be must see TV if nothing was off limits & the full truth was told.

No doubt about it.

I was all on board with cutting her out. She was a diva. Impossible to work with. Etc.

But she was present and had a pulse. Maybe we needed a little crazy.

Nah. Three Super Bowls and a porn movie is my low prediction.

What does that matter? Saints are the key not the city. Most of us have left Louisiana as well, so why be hypocritical worrying about the Saints ultimate move from NOLA.

As for the OP question, it can’t get any worse so yes Rita would’ve been a much better owner from a win loss perspective. Loomis would’ve been fired years ago for sure.

Rita was more interested in snorting coke and partying with Helena Moreno than she was in the success of the team she was purported to soon be "owner" of. Anyone wishing that she was in charge needs their head examined. The Saints dodged a bullet when Grandpa Tom came to his senses and ran that miserable B-itch out of the building.

Our current situation not withstanding, we are lucky she is long gone from Nola.

Rita was a nut. We are a lot better off with Gayle.

Every time you make a retarded post like this I’m going to remind you and everyone here that you are a retard and you need to sit down and take your seat in the back of the short bus

Absolutely not!!

She was a greedy and selfish little girl who didn't want to wait!

She would've had zero problems getting rid of Loomis.

We would 100% be better off today.

Every time I see someone mention her as a better option, I cringe. I had limited business dealings with her. It was a sh@t show. She was both OCD and ADD simultaneously. Late, distracted, spoiled. Then Benson sent her packing and we dealt with Gayle. Night and day difference, she was decisive and professional. Now I can't offer any insight as to how Gayle operates the Saints, but from the limited interactions I had, everyone should thank the God, Budda, the everywhere spirit, whomever you pray to that Tom came to his senses and gave Rita an apple and a road map outta town.

I never heard a good thing about her, and while our situation is dire we dodged a huge bullet with her. While Gayle is…incompetent, Rita would have been incompetent, arrogant and crazy stupid of an owner. If you wanna know what that looks like see current Panthers owner David Tepper or Dan Snyder as an example.

Both of which have extremely brighter futures than the Saints at the moment.....

What a grand time to be a Saints fan.

Now I’m sad.

If only Loomis would get his hands off the cap at least a ray of sunshine would show itself.

Uhhh… Commanders haven’t been owned by Snyder in 2 or 3 years. Panthers will still be trash.
