As I said, it’s the smart move. But I think you need to weigh everything in entirety. Wilson is more valuable than Kamara.

Is Wilson, no 1st round picks for three years and Murray better than Murray, Kamara, 3 first round picks and Winston?

Seattle was still good with its defense a few years ago, but they weren’t as good as they are now until Carson started balling out. Remember how they picked Penny in the 1st round? Hell, Wilson was their leading rusher in 2017. He’s not doing that anymore.

I know I’m being a homer, but it’s a debatable argument.

We would have to give up something valuable. It is a lot easier to replace a RB than it is a QB.

not sure kamara has a very tradable contract. maybe it can work somehow but not sure its ideal. Trading Taysom even as an offensive weapon to seattle and they resign Carson makes more sense.

I know this isn't going to be a popular take but it's just my opinion.

I wouldn't want to trade a really good player or players to get a quarterback like Russell Wilson who supposedly is fed up with his organization.

He's a real talented player and I respect his game but I don't like how quarterbacks or other athletes or whining because they don't like where they are right now it's like shut the f****** man you're getting paid millions of dollars and you got millions of people who would trade places with you in a second.

No

If we get Wilson then both of their prime years line up perfectly.

I would offer anyone except Kamara, Thomas, Ramczyk, Davis, and Jordan.

The reality is that if we get Wilson we are going to have to give away some major pieces. This roster would look completely different if we got Wilson. He would have to carry the offense more until we could draft some high level skill position guys. The key is keeping the o line together.

We would also most likely only have a late second as our highest pick for the next few years. I’m not sure how long it would take to turn the roster into a championship roster but it’s our best shot

I don’t think trading AK is an option for Sean. He runs way too much of his offense on Kamara’s skill set and you would want to keep weapons for Wilson. MT13 is a much more expendable player but that have a star already in DK Metcalf. RB are easy to find but guys like Kamara and Christian McCaffrey are rare.

Everyone is replaceable
You found Kamara in the 3rd round
You found Michael Thomas in the 2nd round
WR's and RB's are a dime a dozen

The way the league is set up is you have to pay the franchise QB at the expense of other positions

You better have a OT to protect him

You better have pass rushers

You better have corners

and you better have LB's with range to cover

The history of mankind is nothing but people in positions of power throwing their weight around. If an athlete has the power to have a say in organizational decisions, or where he wants to play, good for them.

Russ is tired of playing behind a shite offensive line and a coach who for some reason doesn’t run a system designed to best use one of the best qb’s in football.

The fact that he makes millions and many people would trade places with him is irrelevant, and hilarious that you wouldn’t want him on your team cause of that.

If you had a job making good money, but were unhappy, you wouldn’t jump at the chance to take another job making same money but also made you happy? There are much worse ways people abuse their power than athletes being unhappy with their teams.

I love Kamara but if it's for a franchise QB you do it 10 times out of 10.

No matter how good your RB is - your not gonnna win a superbowl without a legit QB. Not gonna happen in a league with Aaron Rodgers, Pat Mahomes, Tom Brady and Russell Wilson.

All right let me rephrase then I wouldn't want to trade away a solid nucleus of players or draft picks just to get him even though he is a really good quarterback if you roll the dice on something like that you'd better be right.

But you know Wilson and the Seahawks they've been in the hunt pretty much every year.

It's not like he's playing for a dogshit organization.

Sometimes he holds the ball too long and some sacks are on him.

That’s funny you think we will keep our first if we get Wilson, even including AK.... cuz neither one of them RB’s are falling out of first round...

Seattle found Wilson in the 3rd, does that make him a dime a dozen or easily replaceable?

How long do you expect Kamara to be at the top of his game?

Not sure, but you still have old arse Gore playing lol.

Agree but those also tend to be the ones with really high usage. I feel feel like Sean has done a pretty good job at protecting Kamara as best they can but shite happens. Cant say the same about Seattle and Wilson

I dont disagree with the points made about QB vs RB but if trading Kamara id rather it be for a younger QB or at least one that hasent been beat the frick up like Wilson has.

Im all for a Wilson trade outside of trading a Kamara or Thomas. Although if push comes to shove id rather them Trade Kamara over Thomas because whats the point of getting Russ only to trade his best WR

For Watson? Perhaps.

For Wilson? No.

Yeah, I would be much more willing to trade Kamara for Watson than Wilson. Younger and out of conference.

I’d still be hesitant.

In a world without salary cap, perhaps.

But this world does have a salary cap and the Saints will be a bit pressed to get under it this year; so I doubt another 7 million in cap charges is something the Saints want to deal with by trading Kamara.

Yes I would consider a trade. Running backs don't last long and he will eventually get hurt or become too expensive to retain. It might be better to get value for him now. Also, this is a passing league and while he is an outstanding receiver, we need receivers to make the offense go.
