Without three of our top players, I'm excited/worried about seeing the next men up. Glad we kept Kikaha though.

We are only missing 3 of our top 11 guys. We will be fine.

It’s definitely not ideal having your two top corners out.

They were the catalyst for the defensive turnaround.

Doesn’t mean we can’t win, but there is reason to worry in the meantime.

Coaches had the whole week to scheme for this. Let’s hope it works. I am nervous too though.

Ram’s are 26th against the run so hopefully we can keep the ball and control the clock, score and get the hell out of there with a W.

The real key to the game IMO is Saints OL vs LAR front 7.

This is the best front from a talent standpoint we have played all year.

Donald, Brockers, Quinn, Ogletree is insane.

Best thing we can do for our D is to continue to run the ball and eat clock. It will be very hard but not impossible to do this week. We need our starting 5 to earn their paychecks this week.

Minnesota, Detroit, Miami, and Carolina all have statistically better fronts.

We need to ground and pound. Unfortunately, I think coach gets a little inpatient and gets us into a track meet. Hopefully, Drew can win this one for us if that happens.

Yeah, the Rams passing game is good enough to score points on this defense, especially with the CBs out. But I think the Saints can control the clock with the running game. I also think drew can outgun Goff if it came to it.

Rams rush defense is terrible. We need to get a few stops on defense and pound the rock on offense.

We had a fully healthy defense and faced shite level qbs for an extended stretch and people think we have a top 5 defense. This defense isn’t that good. Maybe we’re mid level and that might be good enough but top 5 hell no. With crawley, okafor, and Lattimore out and going against the rams offense I suspect the saints get lit up today. Let’s just hope our offense is able to overcome it

Kikaha isn’t good imo. He has one move, outside speed rush without any power moves to set it up.

Hoping Hendrickson can show he’s ready and maybe Muhammed is a diamond in the not so rough. Worried as well.

PJ has been given so many chances to be a key guy, but never shown he’s capable other than in preseason when we claim he’s all pro. Moore and Harris will need to play at their optimal level today.

I’m afraid we’ll have to win a shootout and get a few turnovers.

The rams are going to run right at Kikaha and Hendrickson all game. Okafor being out is huge.

we can agree to disagree.

Minnesota has the most complete defense IMO that we have played but LAR front is more than capable of giving us fits today.

Ninny defense is far and away better than rams. Way more complete at all three levels. Rams have a few star players like Donald and quinn

Definitely not, but I posted this in another thread.

During our SB run we lost Greer during game 8 and didn't get him back until game 16. We lost Porter during game 9 and didn't get him back until game 14 (when the losing streak started ironically).

We also lost Gay during game 12 of our winning streak (the Skins game).

So we won games 10 (38-7 over Bucs), 11 (38-17 over Pats), 12 (33-30 over Skins and without Gay), and 13 (26-23 over Falcons) without both of our starting corners.

So yes it definitely can be done, but only if Harris doesn't have to play.

I'm worried about this game in general. Feel like we are about due. The injuries just compound that.

Imo THE best Dline as well as Kendricks and Harrison at LB and S respectively, and some damn good corners.

And we played them without both starting tackles (after Strief went out) and insanely playing Kelemete at RT instead of Ram (perhaps he hadn't practice enough there yet but RT is the one spot Kelemete really struggles at) and still only lost by 10, even with Payton also giving up a TD right before half with the TOs.

Needless to say I REALLY want another crack at them.

Ehh that was kind of a stat padded 10 point loss. They definitely let off the gas. We were missing players no doubt but they dominated us that game.
