The Saints need to trade a high pick for a seasoned QB the same route the Lions went with Goff.
Lions actually got a first for taking on Goff. His contract was viewed as that toxic around the league.

Your analogy is misguided.
Detroit didn't trade any picks to get Goff. They gave up Stafford in exchange for two 1st round picks and a 3rd in addition to Goff from LA. The Saints don't have anyone on their roster to get such a haul in return.
So what you are really arguing is that the Saints do what the Rams did, and trade high picks to get a seasoned vet. However, the Rams were in win-now mode when they made that trade. The Saints aren't, and they don't have the assets to trade for a (potential) HOF QB like Stafford anyway.
I guess if the Cardinals want to GIVE the Saints a 1st round pick and Kyler Murray in exchange for Sough, your analogy would make sense. But doubt that happens. You don't trade a 1st round pick for Kyler Murray.

I never suggested trading for Murray, especially for a 1st

Trading for a “seasoned” qb in our situation makes zero sense. Maybe in a year or two if the young qbs don’t pan out.

Its obvious the QBs on the roster aren't NFL starters. Shough will be a decent backup though.

I want the Jets, Raiders, and Cardinals to fall in love with Mendoza and Moore with the Jets winning out and trading the 3 #1s to move up a spot or two
1st pick Arvell Reese
2nd pick best WR
3rd pick best interior lineman
Best I could do is an injury prone DE in RD1 from some no where school
Big potential injury prone OL RD2 from some school like Wazzu
Huge reach CB RD3 from Ohio State's 3rd team defense

Bad news is that I’m not sure there is a QB that anyone wants to trade up for.
We really have no idea? Teams always overreach for QBs. They are overvalued and teams will absolutely fall in love with one player. All it takes is 1 team to fall in love with one QB and you can use that as leverage

Loomis will trade the pick and next years draft to get pick 0.5
What a dumbass.
What a dumbass.

You had to ruin the moment. I know it's sarcasm, but it still hurts.
