This. The route was played poorly. Johnson-Gardner guessed that Kittle was going to run the same route as the play before when was able to break up the pass. He guessed wrong & paid for it.

I’d argue that the entire secondary was garbage today.
Had we just played better on defense today the game doesn’t have that pivotal mistake by Williams.
Our defense isn’t playing good enough to win a championship right now plain and simple.
Hell the Panthers came back on us a few weeks ago at the Dome.

By the time he grabs the face mask the game was already done . He had the first and was 20 yards down the field and SF had 2 TO left. Blame the OLD for getting sacked in and getting faked out by Kittle

It's not ball skills, it's balls. He shys away from contact. This is at least the 3rd game he has cost us since he's been here. A good stiff hit and wrap up at the legs would have brought him down. Do they coach/practice tackling anymore? For me, we need to get better help at that position. This guy just ain't got it.

If he wraps up the TE's legs he doesn't get called for the face mask or dragged 10-15 yards down field.

This board is pathetic during games & insufferable after a loss. Fire Allen, this guy sucks, that guy is the worst in the league.
We didn't play our best game today & we lost to a damn good team by 2 points. We're 10-3 with 3 more games to go. I wonder if some of these clowns have ever had anything shitty happen to them in their life.
Marcus Williams isn't perfect, but he's a good free safety. He's having a Pro Bowl year.
