Well if your happy because you dug up a typo then I'm happy for you. Always open to constructive criticism.

tigerinATL said this in another thread thought it fit here too.

It's confirmation bias pure and simple. People are looking to confirm that Griff has screwed up. And I'm not saying he hasn't screwed up, but what the Internet has done to fandom is really messed up. People used to be able to think their GM or head coach was a dumbass but still enjoy their team. Now you have people hate watching a team they should enjoy watching because they get more dopamine hits pointing out what's wrong with the team than enjoying the team just being what it is.

He hit the nail on the head. We became spoiled from the success over the past several years and now we've become jaded from the struggles of the last couple of years. This teams biggest adversary the past couple of years has been the injury bug. Last year was terrible but the previous year I believe I read where the Saints set a record by having every starter miss at least one game during the regular season on both Offense and Defense. Here is another obscure fact. Last year the Eagles had every starter in place through the Playoffs that started for them at the beginning of the season.
No ones ever happy with losing but sometimes you just have to accept reality with the right perspective.

I have little to no faith in our coaching staff. I think we have an average offensive line. Our stable of RBs just got a whole lot better than it was a year ago. Our WRs should be pretty decent if Thomas comes back and is motivated. TE is probably slightly better than average. Our defensive line should be okay and we have good starting LBers but little depth. Our CBs are really good IMO. Our safeties kinda suck.
I think we should have a pretty good season. Our schedule should allow us to win 8+ games and our offense should be fun to watch. Carr is a top 15 QB with Top 10 upside. QB should be the least of our worries this year.

Will Derek Carr pan out?
If we can keep him upright and give him time in the pocket then hell yes. I do worry about our O line. Foster is a beast blocker so that helps.. but our interior sucks and seems like it always has

I'll tell you that my dopamine hits bottomed out with a fricking franchise QB and the best fricking coach we've ever had losing multiple playoffs games at home. And then they were both done.
now what?
I root for the comeback but there is a lot of fricking unknowns out there.
