Knew they were getting 1st on QB run as soon as penalty was accepted.

beyond questionable decision. if you don’t trust your D on 4th and 2 then you definitely don’t keep them on the field on 3rd down (and knowing we are always penalized in the secondary with auto first downs)

they finally got a stop and he does that

I have only seen that declined when knocking the other team out of field goal position. IF, they didn’t gain a yard, it would have still only been an under 49 yard FG. That decision is completely unforgivable and damn near a fireable offense.
