Dosnt say anything about encouraging illegal hits. As i see it, it was just motivation to move to the ball quicker, anticipate better and hit harder.

Maybe because the saints were warned to stop and didnt give two shits and keep going with it?

Btw, the tears of all the saints fans taste sooo sweet right now.

Did we really have more illegal hits than most other teams?

Prior to this coming out were we becoming known as the dirty team of the league?

What about all of the other teams doing the same shite.

It is what you can prove. Plain and simple. Supposedly, "every SEC team pays players." But you only get in trouble if you get caught.

Belichick didn't cover it up, and was very forthright with league investigators, which is probably why it wasn't a year suspension.

The Patriots cheated with a camcorder.

The Saints tried to hurt other people for money.

It's pretty obvious which one is worse, and thus bigger penalties. That said, I still think the Patriots got off easy, but there's no logical argument that would make what they did worse than what the Saints did.

Obviously the saints offence was worse but if you use the pats offence to punishment as a guage then either the saints are getting f*cked or the pats got off easy.

PS. I think an 8 game suspension for SP would have been firm but fair. Also cutting the other suspensions in half but same fine would have been seen as not being used as an example.

Really? How is this not insanely worse than what Belichick did? These guys were literally out to hurt and maim people. It was systemic and had the blessing of the DC and the HC.
