Nick lays out a good argument for keeping the faith this season. Personally, I don't think we will be great but we can be good.

The Saints have one of the best OL’s and one of the best DL’s in the entire league. That alone is worth 8-9 wins even if a team only has marginal NFL surrounding talent, but the Saints do have some stars at RB, LB and DB.

So it’s unlikely to be a god-awful year, but could easily approach mediocrity, especially if there are key injuries or underachieving star production.

Of Michael Thomas was a full go id be pretty optimistic of a sneaky 10 win season. As someone just said the Saints really do have one of the best OL in the league. That plus a few stars like kamara and Thomas will win games.

On the other side the Dline is very good.

But surviving the first stretch without Thomas, onyemata and Harris will be tough.

With moderate QB play and limited turnovers I still think we can go above 500.

With the O-Line and a post lasik James Winston (who actually looks fit!) the saints legit have a chance at a top 5 offense in the league.

Dudes got talent. Maybe all he needed was a little time with Drew.

Sean could do better than that with the offensive line. We are probably going more run heavy. Run the old school raiders offense with some west coast principles. Run heavy, play action, throw deep. We actually saw some of these concepts with Drew in the early part of the relationship.

You are being extremely optimistic.
Saints will be lucky to have a top 15 offense.

I think we’re in for a 5 or 6 win season this year

It’s not going to be pretty

I agree with you but with one caveat...the Saints will be as good as Jameis Winston is. If Jameis has a great year, so will the Saints.
