Why no TE’s

I know we picked up only one UDFA as a TE, which is shocking right now. Either they love Trautman or we are going to trade… right?

I guess they feel Trautman is progressing along with Johnson and Vannett. Throw in Taysom and I think the TE group will be serviceable. Wouldn’t mind a couple practice squad stashes at the position in case Vannett or Trautman miss time

So confused by Johnson in the sense of are they telling him stay his current weight or beef up so he can play on the line. He’s a tweener for TE, just like Hill.

Might be the position next year that WR was this year where we just absolutely have to address it in FA or in the 2nd round. Or maybe Hill or Trautman ball out. Either way, doubt we make any more notable moves at that spot

We are okay at TE, at least relative to what we could have drafted this year compared to what we got.

Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson are your receiving TE and Trautman along with Nick Vannett are the blockers. We have 4 now so we have one too many actually.
