This. I've been waiting for someone to break out the Guido Merkins comparison. Of course Hill is much better!

if he ever gets really good at reading the RPO he’d be an unstoppable wrinkle in this offense. He already pretty much is even when he makes the wrong read and has to create with shear athleticism.

Would love to see a few passes out of that formation.

Why the surprise? McCarthys limited brain saw him and only thought: substandard quarterback.
Payton saw him, and in less than one season now sees $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Tebow I think ran a 4.7 40. So no not near as fast as Hill, who ran a 4.4

I could be wrong, but I thought he's got a gun. Not a lot of touch and a little iffy on the accuracy at times, but plenty of arm strength.

Dude seems to be having a blast out there. I know he's already 28, but I don't think he's getting banged around like a starter would be. I wonder how long he can last doing this- maybe as long as Brees remains the QB?

He's got crazy power. Saw him turn a play that should have been a loss and failed third down conversion into a first down just with power.

There are no comparisons. You probably have to go back to the days of leather helmets to find a player that contributes in so many different aspects of the game. Receiver, runner, passer, blocker, special teams. It's really pretty crazy.

Yes dude has a cannon for an arm (but like Scoob said he's still working on touch and accuracy) and ran the third fastest 40 for a QB behind Vick and someone else.

That's kind of who I thought of. Thorpe is extremely overlooked. Just a super athlete who could do just about anything.

Of course Thorpe was a better QB to this point. Let's see where Hill goes.
