I think we have to get a dt or de with our first and kinda hoping for Antonio Johnson in the 2nd with a rb in the third.
At that point you are getting a bottom 10 DLinemen or worse. It’s a bigger need sure, but I would rather the best overall player at a position. 29/40 are good picks, need two starters right now for them.

BPA out of DT, DE, OG, OT, TE, LB, S, or RB.

There’s a ton of RBs in this draft, so much so that there are rumors that guys like D. Henry and N. Chubb May be available. No need to reach for this position. But we do have to get someone in the draft or FA.

RB and DT are deep, I would not spend the first pick on either

If Thomas isn’t coming back we need a big bodied target for our new QB. Quentin Johnson, Darnell Washington, Kincaid etc

I've read the the Saints were very interested in Darnell Washington at the combine.

Don't be surprised if he's there at 29 and the Dline men aren't that we go that route. Lets face it, Troutman isn't going to be the guy we thought. Johnson has a lot of nice potential But he may want to see what his value is in FA. Hill is not going to be a full-time TE nor should he.

Pick 29- Dalton Kincaid TE Utah
Pick 40- Mazi Smith DL Michigan
Pick 71 Zach Charbonnet RB or Tyjae Spears RB (whichever is still avail)
Pick 115 Jammie Robinson S Florida St
Pick 148 Trey Palmer WR (may have to trade up to get)

Bradford would be a fit for teams like the Titans that are between the tackles downhill running teams. We run more zone blocking which means we need our guards to be agile enough to pull and that isn’t Bradford’s game. He’s best in a phone booth.

DT at 29. Hooker at 40. You prepare for after Carr and will help on the cap.

whoever the highest sack leader is in the draft at 29

and at 40 go with an absolute shut down coverage guy

that would go a long way to fix glaring issues on this team

with the other picks go WR, O-line, RB, and TE, then BPA

this is assuming they can get some O-line help in FA, the O-line is our greatest weakness even if it isnt our greatest need in the draft, and they should be very aggressive in FA to get help

That's not a bad draft. I'm not a fan of Ringo at all tho. He was exposed every time he went up against an NFL caliber receiver.

I did the same PFF mock. The chosices seem to change every time, which I like. Gives you different scenarios.

29: Bijan Robinson RB
40: Tuli Tuipulotu DE (Darnell Washington was taken the pick before or I would have gotten him)
71: Jammie Robinson S
115: Kobi Turner DT
148: Chandler Zavala G
167: Zack Kuntz TE
229: DJ Dale DT
260: Clayton Tune QB

most drafts have top defensive linemen and running backs gone by 29 But Kincade/TE and Banks/CB maybe and both are rated in the teens. Kincade runs and catches like a wr - when is the last time we had a dangerous TE? remember what Greg Olsen did to us every time we played Carolina. Seems to be a defense heavy draft and value at running back in 4/5th round.Of course after combine all ratings will change.

After a few trades.

1st O,Cyrus Torrance G Florida
2nd Felix Anudike-Uzomah DE K-State
3rd Devon Achane RB Texas A&M
4th Dorian Williams LB Tulane
4th Ronnie Hickman S The Ohio State
5th Jerrod Clark DT Coastal Carolina
5th Jalen Moreno-Cropper WR Fresno State

Going to need to make a strong push to re-sign Jawan Johnson and likely add a FA RB at least till AK is available.

Added a 3rd and 7th in 24 and a 7th in 25.
