Kamara
or
Michael Thomas
?

Please detail a brief explanation as to why you think this or that.

Kamara. He's healthy. And both can't be traded. There isn't a team that will take on either contract.

Kamara has the pending legal issue.

Kamara i think is slightly more movable or cuttable.

I truly feel like MT is more worth keeping at this point. He's a game changing offensive talent when healthy. Ideal pairing with Olave.

I think MT plays more. The team has to extend him next year, because they cannot have his contract counting $28M against the cap. By extending him, you are probably looking at another 3-4 years before his contract can be moved, 2025-2026.

AK has a cap hit of $16M next year, but it will be an easier sell to extend him for a little less money because you're going to help him out by reducing his annual salary and turning it into a bonus to reduce how much the suspension will affect him. I think AK is gone in 2024-2025

Michael Thomas will come back healthy next year, never another game and people will look back and say "man if MT didn't miss those 3 years, he'd the considered one of the GOATs."

That's my fantasy. I mean prediction.

I think it could happen. Thomas was really good till he got another freak injury.

All this bad luck the saints have endured for the last 5-6 years is gonna finally flip one season where we get incredibly lucky - this is my fantasy/prediction

Will he still be that though? He was a one man WR group a few years ago. Sucks what has happened.

This season's SSS showed he can still play well. He would be feasting with dalton's short accuracy imo

If neither Kamara nor Thomas plays in another game for the Saints, I will self-ban from ST. If they do you will.

We could set it up this way, From the start of game 1 next season, I will not post until either Kamara or MT appear in a game for the Saints. You will cease to post at the point that either appears in a Saints game from the onset of the 2023 season.

That is the bet. Post if you accept it.

Simple put, Kamara has one more contract season than MT right now but MT has the contract most likely to be extended for cap reasons (as Weekend Warrior79 so capably explained). Now consider that as a running back, Kamara probably has less tread on the tires, and then throw in the possibility(some would say probability) of suspension time related to his poor behavior it seems likely that MT is your answer. I think it will be MT.

Kamara because Thomas doesn’t want to play, he wants to collect money and not have to play. He’ll be out of football as soon as the Saints can cut him. No other team will take him.
