Anyone remembers when he did the intro for the hornets?

Think about how many other famous fans ATL has...

Exactly. Boycotting his movies because he's a fan of your rival team is pathetic.

OP, time to man up, you're acting like a child.

Well I swear I saw him call Matt Ryan a fig, so he's got that going for him. :)

If you will give up watching Pulp Fiction because Samuel L. Jackson is a Falcon fan.... well then, you're a fricking idiot.

I give him props for being there and a fan all the time, way back. They are sucking bad but he's there cheering on. Don't like it but respect his fanosity.

Definitely. Respect him for not being a bandwagon fan and supporting his shitty team.

No shite. I hate the Falcons but I don't hate him just because he's a fan. At least he's not a fan of the Saints, then the Packers, then the Giants, etc.

What I took away from this thread: celebrities aren't allowed to be fans of teams other than the Saints.

I didn't know that the Falcons themselves embraced him so much.

I had seen the commercials before - the last few seasons they've had them where he's in a church robe yelling about Falcons Rising Up. But as last night was my first game @ ATL, I learned that they play that same promo in the stadium on the screens A LOT .. Like 5 times throughout the game. Every time they played it they would show him on the screen too, sitting in his box seats.

ETA: did they show him on TV ?

Comment from that youtube video:

My fellow falcons fans, don't give up on them. This is the same team that nearly brought us a Super Bowl appearance a year ago. Injuries and low morals has grinned our team to a holt. Matt Ryan is still our elite QB, Mike Smith is still our greatest coach, and our program still has potential. As a falcon fan ask yourself one question, has our fan base ever had the taste of underachievement? No. We've never gone into a season expecting nothing but excellence, for we've only prayed to MAYBE not get creamed on Sunday, and that's the beauty. The dark ages that've followed ATL is over. Come on Atlanta, we're down but not out.
