It was Payton telling Gayle to hire Allen as HC. He knew he sucked as a head coach but convinced her it was the best thing to do. He did not want them to hire anyone good.
I'm thankful for his time here and getting a SB. He was not prepared for when Brees was going to retire. He never got another QB or develop any of the QBs drafted.

Mates, I'm headed to Portland's premier sports bar (Spirit of 77) to cheer on our coach and former Saints (Trautman, Lil Jordan, and Wil the Conqueror - the greatest place kicker in Saints history), but I'm torn on which Broncos shirt to wear.
Does anyone have an opinion of the 3? The orange Elway is the oldest and I've had the most success with it, and I definitely have a losing record while rocking the blue Broncos tee. I was wearing the gray Elway tee for the Bengals / Broncos so that one feels hexed as well.
I'm thinking about ordering a Broncos Starter jacket for the playoffs but am worried it won't arrive in time.
