You replied to the wrong person.

That being said, would you like to take a ban bet? If he plays, you sit out for a year. If he doesn't, I'll gladly sit out for a year. Deal?

And is killing it in this one. Really excited about the pick.

Smith is the second best receiver on this team, and it's not close.

No deal. I'm not a fool. The Saints are stuck with a $5.5 million dollar guarantee on Meredith. Give me ten to one odds and I'll bet $100 on it.

He signed a very reasonable 2 year deal. He wasn't going to hit the ground running after missing a year of action. Late 2018 Meredith and 2019 Meredith will probably be the 2nd best WR on the team.

Tre'Quan will probably have something to say about that.

You're acting like that's some huge arse amount

He put up nearly 900 yards receiving with the bears garbage QBs and offense. If the saints are dumb for giving him that, what is CHI for giving Robinson that huge deal after his injury?

He was killing it in Chicago!! Not hardly. 15 receptions for twenty yards are more, and one catch for forty yards in four years. Five total touchdowns. Saints made a mistake, and they just may cut him. However, they may keep him just to make him earn his money. I still predict he won't see the field during the regular season.

written like you'd expect from someone that took 6 years to graduate high school

He has 10 career starts and only played 2 seasons. You are very very dumb.

I would love for the WR I want Floyd to be to make the team...unfortunately he has not been playing anywhere near a rosterable level.

Love his size and rookie measurables...but he is looking like a guy on his way out of the NFL.

It is awesome that the Saints kicked the tires on him. However you don't hear his name come up in TC practice through the media and has 1 catch in preseason action. There is a reason the Cards, Vikes, and Pats gave up on him. Unfortunately it looks like the drink is either more important than football or it took his ability to win in the NFL.

Meredith will start off slow this yr due to his injury. He will be fine by end of yr and for the playoff run. Will prob take over Ginn position for next yr. The future is Thomas and Smith anyway.

Who this keep:

Thomas, Smith, Ginn, Meredith, T Lewis, Tate

Yeah, he won't be cut, but he really hasn't done anything yet to deserve making the team; I think they'll consider IR designation to return; either he's still injured some and he's gonna get better down the line or he's a bust (for whatever reason)

Ginn and Smith are locks.

Smith is WR2, he's a lock;

Ginn is not a lock, his chance of being cut is not 0%, although he's most likely making the team; he's seemed disinterested this pre-season so far, and this is a very good roster, if you keep him and then let him walk after this year, you're prob gonna have to cut a good player to do that
