Mark me down as being guilty of that. Guess I'll be wrong again bcs I'm also betting Devery and Ivory.

Rather him over other backs, but can't blame the guy for leaving for a team that will actually play him.
I don't see why Devery would be gone with he and Morgan being the deep threat duo that they are.

Season stats:
Henderson, 21 rec., 300 yds, 14.3 avg, 1 TD, long: 41, 20+ rec. 5
Morgan, 9 rec., 371 yds, 41.2 avg, 3 TD, long: 80, 20+ rec. 8
Henderson, 21 rec., 300 yds, 14.3 avg, 1 TD, long: 41, 20+ rec. 5
Morgan, 9 rec., 371 yds, 41.2 avg, 3 TD, long: 80, 20+ rec. 8

I'll be pissed if they let Thomas walk. Henderson is more of an emotional attachment thing. He can probably be replaced by Morgan at this point especially with Toon coming back healthy next year, but I think he can still be productive.
I would be fine if they let Cadet walk. I think the FO was just being greedy by trying to keep him on.

We all have been great picking who goes or stays these last few years
But forced to chose one each I would say Ivory(he will want a legit chance to start) and ol sha...Devery.(Morgan is getting work done)

Morgan has grown a lot as an NFL receiver, I think next year he will be on fire. Henderson has been here close to ten years. Louisiana guy, bluegrass miracle, etc.
But if Morgan can be the deep threat and work on routes..We know what Brees can do with that.
I def want to keep Moore and Colston, and Morgan is ready. Henderson would be great to have around for backup..(i just really dont wanna see him go).
Running back, Ivory seems to have the drive and frustration of not being a starter. Maybe we could trade him to the Chiefs for a very late pick and get a future hall of famer

They're both under contract through 2014.
Ivory is an RFA. I highly doubt that they give him a 2nd round tender. They may consider a "round drafted" tender at ~$1.3m, but we would get no compensation if no one else signed him. I think they let him go and roll with PT, Ingram, Sproles, and Cadet.
I'd be surprised if Henderson is on the team next season.

So sue me. Devery is still a deep threat. Even if they use him in more intermediate plays. If you can find a stat contrary to that please post it. Couldn't find it/ didn't feel like searching for it myself.

Devery is "always" on the chopping block according to fans; however, he always has a spot. Devry is still a deep threat. His hands have improved and he is a really good blocker in the running. Plus he is extremely loyal and realitively cheap. He consistently gives the Saints the home town discount and really doesn't cost the Saints much in regards to the cap.

Probably Devery and Chris Ivory.
