Saw the Mic Up of Saints vs Eagle LaBlanc was wearing it.

Kamara and Ingram did it first is my understanding.

We claimed to do it first. I think last year the Eagles were using a ski mask? They saw the Saints doing it and stole the idea.
edit, sorry meant to say Eagles wearing a hockey mask last year.

All I know is when my two year old son saw Alvin and Mark on Sunday he said "Daddy, it's owls"...I guess I kind of see it.

I heard it was Thomas. Either way, the story I heard was some Saints players came out of the tunnel wearing them against the Eagles in a previous game (not sure if this season). Ever since then, the Eagles defenders started wearing one on the sideline after a TO.
So, not only did they steal the ski mask idea from the Saints; they also stole the idea of celebrating a TO by wearing something in celebration from college players (I think Miami started this).

Yup, the eagles big thing last year was the dog masks so some people here may be confusing the two

Shoot man, for as far back as people wanted to start keeping their face warm, but still be able to comfortably see and breathe.

Mike Thomas out of the tunnel. Then Kamara and Mark during post game interviews.
I didn’t know Philly had been doing it awhile. I just assumed Leblanc did it one time last week during the game to throw it back in our face?

Is it a paintball thing? I Know that’s Kamaras go to fashion thing. Also what’s the little Pac-Man logo they endorse. I’m sure they are making some $ on this endorsement.

Love that they have been incorporating the music of New Orleans from when I was growing up! Kinda funny!

The local designer was interviewed on the news last night. He can't keep up with the demand now. A ski mask designed in NOLA.

It was Okafor.
It was Okafor's celebration. He did the ski mask thing. When he got hurt Saints players started wearing them. Thomas even broke one out this year. Ingram and Kamara did it a few times once the eagles stole it to prove a point.

It started with Okafor here before the Eagles. Saints have just been doing it more now because they think the Eagles stole it from them.

The idea of the Saints appropriating the ski mask theme dates to last season, when the team enjoyed a resurgence on the defensive side of the ball. Many of their players starting imitating burglars, with defensive end Alex Okafor often pretending to pull a ski mask down over his face.
Wide receiver Michael Thomas wore a ski mask during his player introduction prior to the Saints’ Week 5 victory over the Washington Redskins, something that head coach Sean Payton was not exactly pleased with, and other Saints players had bank robbery themed celebrations during their rout over the Cincinnati Bengals weeks later.
Back in late December, after several Eagles players starting wearing ski masks representing their own effort to make the playoffs, Alvin Kamara revived the Saints tradition.
“There’s a lot of fraudulents out there, so we gotta let them boys know who the real ski mask shawties is,” Kamara said while wearing one on Dec. 23 after their win over Pittsburgh.
Mark Ingram defended Kamara wearing the mask in the locker room, saying it’s a Saints thing.
“It’s just been a lot of frauds out here, rocking ski masks,” he said of Kamara’s ski mask. “We just got to let people know who the originals is. We got to let ‘em know. There’s a lot of frauds out here that want to take pictures, want to put on the ski mask. We’re the original, so we’re letting ‘em know.”
This probably bothered them because they had already had their other celebration stolen.

It would be awesome if the whole team came out wearing one.

It would be awesome if grown men didn't intentionally talk like uneducated idiots.
