When Offense rolls Def struggles and vice versa

Why can't we get good consistent play from both. I know there's some games where they've both been good as of late but for the most part either one plays awesome and the other stinks. In years past the offense has every year been way better and we always said if we only had a decent defense. Well this year the defense has finally shown up as of late and the offense has kinda struggled the last few games. It drives me crazy.

What would you call the Giants/Redskins/Eagles/Bengals and I would argue even the Vikings/Ravens/second Falcons games?
You seem to be confusing dominant with good. Outside of the first Bucs/Falcons/Rams game the defense has been fine, sometimes just good other times dominant. The offense has been fine, usually dominant, outside of the Cleveland/Cowboys/and half of Bucs game.

You’ve seen our D and O play well together, which is how we won 10 in a row and were flat out dominant.

Generally when your Offense is really good your defense won't look as good because other teams are desperate to keep up with the saints. Going for it on 4th, passing almost every down (which is by far our biggest weakness) It's a scoring league and the offense gets all of the advantages. I'm very impresses with what the defense has done.

Not sure if anyone has seen this video but it does a real good breakdown of our tendencies. It calls out how you have to control the TOP against us to beat us and stopping us on 3rd downs. LINK
