1998 when the saints opened up the season with a victory over the Rams. I was 10 years old and this was the first Saints game I really watched as I had just become interested in football.

Although I was born a Saints fan, I have been to every home game (minus Katrina year) since 1994 (I was 7)

I really started following the Saints in 1977 when I was 6 and could figure out what was going on. I also remember being the only kid in my New Orleans school that wore a Saints coat. Everyone else was in Cowboys and Steelers crap. We wore those jackets with the faux leather sleeves and the felt-like material with the little round team helmet patch on the left chest. I can clearly remember talking shite to my friends and classmates after the 8-8 1979 season...I learned my lesson about talking shite.

Falcons reopening the Dome game. Wasn't a fan of any nfl team prior.
