If wright can take over for Ruiz and play well we will have a dominant offensive line. That makes a huge difference between an average or slightly above average inconsistent line

Saints got better in the Draft.
They got some pieces to play with.

I hear what you're saying, but the Saints had a TON of needs going into this draft and they were never going to fill them all. But every player they selected IMO addresses a need, even guys like Lorenzo Styles who will primarily be a special teams player at first. That fills a need for them. Ditto for Barion Brown as a return man
I think Tyson will start from day 1. I think Miller will be starting by the end of the year. I think Delp will be playing 50% of the snaps by season 2. And Lance and Hall will be nice depth pieces.

C …. I wanted more defense. I think we have an inflated view of our defense because we played some low end offenses in the second half of the season. I liked our first 2 picks, and the guard.

I’ve been talking about getting a pass rusher for a year now. But I realize that this is more than a one year rebuild and we need to get better in a lot of areas. I think we addresses a lot of needs with really good players. I think next year we need to concentrate on finding a pass rusher and a CB. Also, the top pass rushers were gone when we picked.
