He's awkward, not a leader, terrible decision-maker, and hasn't gotten better since he was a redshirt Freshman at FSU. You're not winning anything of note with him at this level.
Guy is entering his 8th year and people are expecting him to be something he isn't.
Also, Trevor Semien sucks, as does Ian Book. Jameis being better options than they are doesn't mean you can't be critical of him. He can still suck.

Well thank goodness you aren’t a talent evaluator for a living because you’d be out of the job quickly. The guy had ZERO quality wide receivers out there and still threw 14 TDs against 3 INTs in 7 games. The other three didn’t COMBINE for 14 TDs and more than doubled the INTs. Name one QB that isn’t Brady, Rodgers, or Mahomes that could pull that off and go 5-2 given the Saints’ offensive personnel issues this year.

How are the stats cherry picked? I literally posted every Important individual stat for a qb. Which individual stat did I leave out? Or are you just upset because you didn't know they were that similar? I even included yards per attempt lol. No way you were serious.

Below average completion percentage, less than 200 yards a game, worse passing offense in the league.. what's not to like about him

You guys are wasting ur time. Some people just choose not to look at the facts. It’s obvious to most people in N.O. and the football community at large that Jamies is our best option for many many reasons.
We would have not been doing our job if we didn’t go after Watson. We lost out and now it’s on the Jamies, which should work out quite well. Surround him with real W.O. and a healthy line and we are top 3 or 4 in NFC and can get hot.
If Jimmy G. can get that close to a bowl we can also.

It's fairly obvious that some on this board have already made up their mind, & will never like Winston.
Personally, I think he's a good QB. My only problem with him is his accuracy on short passes. I would hope that he can fix that eventually.

It’s not easy to throw for 5k yards in the NFL. Its not a long list of people and Brees is like half of it.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I think we win the Bucs playoff game in 2020 if JW plays more. They just didn’t respect Drew’s dee ball and J would have kept them honest.
