What are we doing at the WR spot?

Who do we even have outside of Thomas, Snead and old man Ginn?
We need a for sure WR2 to complement Thomas with Ginn in the slot. Does it seem like Snead will get that role back? Did we see the last of Brandon Coleman?
I’m all in on Christian Kirk, but no way he falls to us.

DJ Moore, Anthony Miller, DJ Chark, Al Lazard, Ateman from Okie State, St Brown from Notre Dame, plenty of options. No reason to get blinders I’m reaching for a WR, just take BPA and don’t over value a position. Still plenty of guys in free agency that can contribute as well.

Dude will be an awesome special trainer and locker room guy, but if we are being unbiased, he is not a true #2 or #3 WR....

When at our best under Payton we really haven't had a known "wr2" we have a group of guys who all do some things well and the ball is spread. I'd imagine they have a skill set they are looking for and feel like the skills have not matched up with the potential cost.

We're going to have to double dip in the draft. Maybe a 3rd rounder and a 5th rounder, something like that.

Think that guy will be a stud!! Preseason last here he tore it up but was pretty much nonexistent for the season but did get in on a few plays.. he may be our slot guy with ginn and MT on the outsides

Yep Jordan matthews just got signed by pats on a 1 yr deal.
Don't get why we didn't bring him in.
And Ginn didn't play like he was old dude cam still fly and I expect the same this year.
I expected us to bring in at least one decent free agent a wr2 or wr3 and they tried with jordy.
But haven't heard anything else other than cam Meredith who would be an absolute steal If we could pull that off.
He would be a very solid 2 with Ginn sliding in at 3 and snead would be insurance

Payton has gotten 1000-yard seasons or near-1000-yard seasons from a guy who was nearly Mr. Irrelevant, and two Browns UDFA rejects.

That would be a terrible trade. He's almost 30yrs old and hasn't been able to stay healthy for an entire season the last few years.

You want to give up something for two years of dez at $25 mil? He has regressed considerably and isn’t worth that price
He will be released or restructured. If he’s released, sure. His game has aged and he’ll transition to a mike Thomas type WR as opposed to the big play guy he once was. Brees can make him great again

I would take gage in the 6th round, I honestly want Trey Quinn. He would be a much upgraded version of lance more. Can we get him in the 4th?

Henderson was sorta a true #2
There was a time our top 3 in reviving yards were actually receivers.
I think We need someone you can take the top off the defense. And the. We just have elite weapons at every level of the field.
