Im thinking prime time game. Game can decide who has home field advantage through the playoffs.

100%

Goodell can't have them pesky Saints winning another superbowl.

They ain’t flexing Rams-Hawks out of that slot as long as they stay relevant in the division race

3:25 slot is taken by Chiefs/Patriots... that won't change

SNF is Seahawks/Rams... which could become possible if the Rams continue to struggle... but at this point I'd say that stays there too b/c that could be a key game for a playoff spot

the funny thing is the only game scheduled to be on Fox in the late window in week 14 (the day of 49ers/Saints) is a cross-flex game... LAC @ JAX

if it's late enough in the season for the NFL to allow 3:25 games on BOTH networks... I could see Fox wanting to push 49ers/Saints to the late window

but if it's not time to allow both networks to have a late "Game of the Week"... Chiefs/Patriots will win out

Excellent chance that game gets flexed. Who cares about two regional teams fighting it out for a wild card when you could have a west coast gulf coast match up for a #1 seed, or at least a bi week.

as pointed out... aside from the game @ LAR... SF's schedule up to this point has been paper thin... almost as easy as the Patriots schedule to this point

but the 49ers schedule gets much harder from here on out... they could easily turn into the Cowboys and drop like 4 of the next 5 and by the time they get to NOLA they could be desperate to keep a wild card spot instead of fighting for a division title and HFA

point is... it's still way too early to think about this... we're heading into week 8... this 49ers/Saints game is in week 14... got a month and a half

Don’t see it changing. I mean everybody knows the Niners aren’t really that damn good.

Root for the 9ers to beat Carolina this week before the former comes back down to earth.

Patriots finally playing against a winning team this season will be good TV

Saints winning against yet another playoff team is par for the course

NE has the Browns this week... but their schedule finally picks up a little

after the Browns they have...

@ Ravens
BYE
@ Eagles
vs. Cowboys
@ Texans
vs. Chiefs

then it ramps back down for the final 3 weeks of the season

@ Bengals
vs. Bills (yes I know Buffalo is 5-1 and their only loss so far is to NE)
vs. Dolphins

Just looked at the 9ers schedule for the back half and it gets significantly more difficult. I see several losses sprinkled in. I bet they go12-4

SF's opponents up to this point have a combined winning percentage of < 30%

the rest of their schedule has a winning percentage of ~65%

yes... the 49ers schedule is about to get much, much tougher, starting this week against Kyle Allen & the Panthers
