What are some examples of successful "resurrection" projects?

With the Saints bringing in a guy like former 1st round pick Matt Elam, it made me think: what are some examples, if any, of those type of players getting a second chance and actually making something of it?
Nick Fairley comes to mind, but he never really hit "rock bottom" like Elam has. That and he only had one really good year before his heart condition forced him out of football.

Kyle Wilson survived a couple of years and was serviceable.
That big OT bust from Baylor didn't survive training camp.
They brought in Ki-Jana Carter back in the day. FAIL.
Tim Hightower could be considered a success.
Kerry Collins quit on the team and was successful at his next stop.
Terry Allen didn't do much even though he started after Ricky Williams got hurt in 2000.

Agree, Keemun had a game here or there since entering the nfl. But to have a season like last year was surprising

Rob Ninkovich? Al Woods? Marc Bulger? Lance Moore?
Does teams giving up too early count? Probably not. Those guys had a steady incline from their initial start.
Hmmm resurrection? Randy Moss from OAK to the Pats?

He gets my vote. Spawning a multi-trillion dollar global movement is more impressive than suddenly not sucking at football.
