This I can buy in to.
but
In the NFC North the Vikings will likely tumble. Possibly to below .500. Jordan Love will have to prove himself. There is too small of a sample size on him for any reassurance yet. I'm not saying he won't but he has to prove it. I've seen so much bad Geno Smith that last year seems like it wasn't real. I do think the Lions get better but still see that division as a whole sinking some.

Falcons
They have rebuilt the offensive and defensive lines. This team will run the ball well, but inevitably live and die based on their QB performance, and I don't think they have a starting caliber QB on the roster. I expect them to win roughly 8 or 9 games, but be a matchup problem for the Saints.

Panthers
Similar situation as the Falcons but with an even better defense and fewer weapons on offense. If they get average QB play, they will be a playoff team.

Bucs
Their lines have degraded from Brady's superbowl run, but Baker Mayfield should be no worse than Brady was last season. They have some weapons on offense, but the defense isn't scary outside of Deven White. Unless Baker balls out, this team won't have a winning record this year, but with the right acquisitions could be extremely dangerous a year from now.

Basically, the entire division is in flux and totally up for grab. On paper, the Saints are clearly the best team, but I don't have enough faith in our coaching or our defense to be confident.

It looks real bad… but if anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it’s Dennis Allen

NFC south champ makes the playoffs, regardless of record. Ain’t that something?

The Saints are Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichel still at the helm so the conference is really up for grabs.
