Ak (which our offense revolves around) is on pace for 879 yards rushing and like 630 yards receiving.

This is taking into account 2 games he's missed and assuming he plays in all remaining games.

Here's the kicker, 3 td's total thus far.

The worst part is, this is pretty on par for his career production he's given us. He's not a volume back.

1,500 yards for a crappy offense, multiple bad qbs and a weak arse OC is impressive. AK playing in Pittsburgh would be all-pro every year.

only having 11 touches in any game is pretty inexcusable.

shite arse coaching.

Yeah it's part of the reason why I wasn't cool with paying him. I always see our fan base bitching about how we use him and how we shouldn't run him up the middle and shite.

For what we pay him, he should never leave the field and his usage should be similar to the Raiders game every week. He should average 20-30 touches every fricking game. What the hell are we saving him for? He's already 27. He hasn't had a heavy usage career. He can carry us when he's healthy and we get him the ball. And yet we don't

You're wrong. My thread wasn't intended to bag Kamara. I actually had a line typed saying so but must have deleted it when editing the post. Its just more upsetting with the coaching staff and the decision to pay him and not get usage volume nor even td production out of him.

I've been singing this song for weeks. No excuse for the lack of utilization of Kamara and Hill. Against the Ravens Kamara had 9 rush atts. Hill had 1. The Ravens had 40 rush atts The Saints 15 rush atts. Against the Steelers Kamara had 8 rush atts. Hill had 3. The Steelers had 43 rush atts. the Saints 15 rush atts. The stats and the final scores speak for themselves.

For comparison, Austin ekeler is the chargers offense.

104 carries, 451 yards
67 receptions, 420 yards
10 total tds.

You gotta figure it out because Kamara should and was doing that

not sure what you're mocking. he's on pace for 1500 total yds, pretty dead smack in the middle of what his yearly stats are.

I read it as TDs, Kamara is way off on point production. Likely my comprehension of the OP was off.

His overall production is down a little, about 1/2 a yard per touch. YPC rushing is 4.2 this year compared to 4.6 for his career, Yards per touch is 5.3 compared to 5.8 for his career.

And I am concerned that his age and size will catch up with him very soon. I feel like he is one wrong hit from being permanently damaged in terms of being an NFL back.

I also feel like he is better suited to being a complementary back rather than the primary ball carrier, especially if we try to be more run centric. So I guess I probably have a lot of agreement with the OP the more I think about it.

Complimentary but would have to be to a rookie workhorse rb. Can’t pay 2 rbs and MTIR

Yep. Rookie or a guy on a prove-it deal trying to rebuild his career. Either is a crap shoot when you pick them up. Would sure be nice to back into a Derrick henry type in the second or third round.
