I think I know were your going with this, if you mean instead of Sproles, then you are wrong. If you mean along with Sproles then I actually might agree with you somewhat. Reggie was damn near automatic with dumpoffs in short yardage situations and a security blanket for Brees. Maybe a couple of those field goals and short yardage stops turn out different with Reggie on the field.

The only thing I can say about Reggie Bush is that he blocked a lot better for Drew Brees.
