I was high on Matthews, Vandy didn't have anything else and he still was able to shine. I hated seeing him go to Philly.

Double dipping would have been nice, but we all knew we had issues at CB#2

We might as well have since Jean Baptiste can't beat out a goddamn UDFA to even see the field

He must really suck for them not to even give him a chance. Hell he can't even get on special teams.

If that is the case, the Saints need to fire their Defensive scouts. This team has not done well with defense, mediocre to poor at best

That's the thing, if Dixon wasn't beating him out then people wouldn't be ready to claim SJB a bust yet. I still think its too early but I think like someone else said he barely even gets in on ST. WTF?

The fans of the other 30 teams must feel sad today too.

I remember within the week of the draft there were a couple of mock drafts putting SJB in the 1st round, and one had him going to us at #27. I said at the time that I would hate if we took SJB in the 2nd round, but I'd really lose my shite if we took him in the 1st.

Also, SJB has only played CB for about 2-3 yrs. he played receiver and safety most of his football career. The team like him because of his size. Someone must think they can coach him up to play. The team new he wKyle take some time. I want to see where he is next season and his 3rd. If he doesn't see playing time then, then I will call him a bust.

Yeah, I agree. I'm not calling him a bust yet, but I was pretty low on him prior to the draft. In addition to only playing CB for two years, he didn't seem like he was even really that good at it. And he's pretty old for a rookie (24).

Would have been nice to see him as a Saint, but Cooks is a fine player.

I was praying for Landry. You could just tell he had superstar written all over him.

Superstar is pretty ridiculous. He's going to be a solid WR tough. Good#2 option

Which is really a head-scratcher. With the cap and rookie contracts, you can't afford to totally whiff on a first or second round pick. I mean to not even see the field, that says a lot.

Not sure why SJB was picked so high. I consider it a bust. Odds are against him turning into an awesome player, look at our history on this.
