We played really bad and lacked emotion and energy. Very poor on our part. I think the emotion of playing for and losing the bye was a big factor.

IMHO, the Vikings are better than the Saints especially in the playoffs.

Team did not show up for 3 quarters. It’s a miracle it went to OT.

Saints are post-season chokers. That is their legacy. 2009 was a decade ago.

We had 2 stud defensive linemen hurt so Cook ran all over us. We only have 1 great receiver and he gets doubled in the playoffs. We don't have a power run game we rely too much on Kamara. Worfford and PEAt got their asses beat like a Cherokee drum. We need to cut PEAt he can't stay healthy and isn't very good. I'd rather have 2 no name power/slasher backs and 2-3 above average WRs. We're gonna get screwed in the next few years. Kamara is gonna get paid a truck load but he sucks without a power back like Ingram.

They definitely need to start being labeled this until they prove otherwise.

Man the saints would've been beat like this or worse if we made it to San Fran.
We couldn't block the Vikings d line.
What makes you think they would have blocked this 49er line.

We didn’t run the ball. The offense was shite. The defense did enough in regulation to win the game. If we score 27 like the 49 ers did we win also.

We hung over 40 points on the 49ers def. I think we blocked them fine the first time.

Sean payton took Taysom Hill out. He had the hot hand, let him lead. But Sean wanted to preserve brees legacy and I can understand that but....it cost us.

The man kept it down two 20 points in regulation. I twas not the defense fault. If he given up 30 then yes.

well for one, the Vikings had way more success running the ball against us.

Cousins didn't have to do a whole lot.

missed a FG

two turnovers

penalty on a fake punt

i guess there was plenty of blame to go around.

only getting a FG after the early fumble recovery was also just a huge letdown. It was a lot like the year before against the Rams when Davis got an interception deep in Rams territory but we only kicked a FG.

maybe the team was also too over confident? Who knows?

not having Davenport and Rankins on defense was also big.

the season before Davenport was playing through injury and Rankins missed the Rams game.

this is still mostly a young squad though so we will see how they regroup.
