Was the Week 18 Panthers game last year one of the dumbest of all time?

I am still in disbelief/pissed off that we got swept by that shitty Panthers team last year. Both games against them were just straight up bizarre, especially the Week 18 game. We lose 10-7 wearing black jerseys with white pants and the panthers only TD of the game comes on an offensive fumble recovery in the end zone by an OLineman named Michael Jordan. And of course the biggest play of the game was made by Terrace Marshall because why wouldn't it be. We better kick their arse twice this year. We also should have beaten the Bucs twice last year. God I hate our divisional opponents.

This is why I’m tempering my expectations… the team looks great on paper but it has to be more than great to offset the coaching we saw last season

The added layer of irony of Carolina winning that game and still having the Ammo to move up and get Bryce Young vs us losing the game and not having nearly enough Ammo to move up for Bryce Young due to that shortsighted Olave trade also should not be lost in the context of that game.

Why does it have to be Olave, why not Penning?
Had they not traded 18 away, they probably still try to jump up to get Olave or one of the other WRs in that range (Williams, Dotson & Burks all went between 12-18).
