He just flies to New Orleans and disappears. Not another peep. What the hell is going on with him? Any word on how the visit went (or is going) at least? It must be one hell of a visit.

He will surface in a few days to announce he’s accepting a 1 year $2 million deal to be Gronk’s backup in New England.

Obviously they didn't get a deal done yet or at all.
And he probably didn't have another visit scheduled.

It probably comes down to the saints offer and the raiders offer.

Also it probably means he is asking for too much money.
He isn't a complete tight end he is catch first.

Hopefully sean can talk him into it cause i don't see the saints overpaying by too much

My guess. Mickey roofied him during his FA visit.

Mickey and Sean left him on the rooftop of Harrahs

This is another Ingram situation.

Cook overvalued himself and the market is disagreeing with him. He will reluctantly sign somewhere soon.

Cook wants more $ than anyone is willing to give him at the moment. I have a feeling about this guy that if he gets the $ he wants his production will drop off.

At his age I think that could happen regardless. One last contract. Which may also be what these teams are feeling, hence no contract yet.

Probably no team is willing to meet his salary demands right now

I think the Saints are content going into the draft to find their new TE. I’d offer Cook 2 years $12 million with only the first year guaranteed and if he took it great, if not the draft is deep at the position. I think Foster Moreau is going to be a much better pro player than college.

Weird thing happen in the French Quarter. Saints put him up at the Sonesta and he hasn’t been seen or heard of ever since.

According to incarcerated bob:

So take with a grain of salt

Latest on Jared Cook #NFLRumors:
Source - Saints have what they feel is "Best Offer" currently on table for his services, however Cook is still shopping this offer around looking for another team to top it with better guaranteed $$$. #IB

Despite having his best season last year he's 31, his physical skills are declining, and he is a mediocre blocker at best. In short: you don't overpay a guy like that.

After the Coby Fleener $36m contract, Saints are going to be hesitant to dish out guarantees. We are still paying off Coby through 2020 and honestly i don't even remember him ever playing.

As they should.
If that's true and the saints] have the best offer on the table then that bodes well for them to get him.

I think in the end he signs here
2 year 14 mil with 9 guaranteed
