CGJ can do the same things that bell could do but at more positions. We upgraded our pass defense with Malcolm Jenkins. We don’t need bell

On a side note, its crazy how time goes by so quickly. It feels like yesterday when he made that play against Tony Gonzalez (Atlanta) and batted the ball down to win the game. It was ALL downhill from there though. The media was making KV out to be the next best safety in the league after that game.

Would like to keep him, but not overpay. Not sure how much of his play this year was due to being in a contract year or his progression. I remember before last year people saying he wasn’t that good....

CGJ made him expendable. He’s 10x the playmaker Bell has been. And considering Bell finally developed into a decent player, he’s not one you invest big money in.

10x the playmaker? Bell has forced so many turnovers. That’s such an inaccurate statement. CGJ may end up being better than bell but to say that right now is just idiotic.
