It amazed me how many people were appalled by this. Like, have yall watched football before?

It's not they people haven't watched, it's that they've never PLAYED. If only they could hear some of the shite said on a field and in a locker room.

even in high school, coaches say some fricked up things. I can't even imagine the shite that college and pro coaches say behind the scenes.

my Dline coach in high school was the worst at calling you out in front of people. Its not so much the language he'd use but how he would talk to you in front of others.

You never wanted to be "that guy" trust me. But I always thought he got the most out of everybody.

I watched that second season on Amazon Prime where they follow a team all year. Last year it was the Rams of course and he (GW) was saying "frick" every other word. I get it.. he commands attention that way but after awhile he sort of just sounds like a blowhard. He comes across as a sound byte type of coach.. they never really showed him coaching up a player. If they did it was brief.

The Cardinals season was better. I couldn’t bring myself to care about the Rams.

The thing that bothers me the most about this crap is why it was just us. Williams has had a lot of stops in the NFL and i doubt this pay for play system was new. Many teams since then have come out and said as much. Suggs for baltimore i believe said they had one, i think a player for tbe Vikings said they even did it. Ive heard similar things about the Bills and redskins as well. We were guilty at most of cap evasion. I dont think money pots like that were allowed but its not like they were out to end careers.

“The Great” Jim Brown (as he is called by NFLN) came on to Total Access on NFLN when the punishment came down. When asked what he thought about it, he immediately said that he felt like the Saints got screwed over because this had been going on SINCE HIS PLAYING DAYS! Sisciliano IMMEDIATELY attempted to change the subject, and when he couldn’t shut Brown up......they cut to commercial.

Greg Williams saying take out his ACL was just a joke

Probably in the same joke c atagory as when my coach in little league would say "knock his block off"
I know you're shocked, but it was a figure of speech and we didn't knock any opponents heads off!
