D Smith should be straight up fricking canned immediately. NFLPA = RG's bitch

The players would have lost even if Jesus was head of the NFLPA. Before the lockout the owners were squabbling amongst themselves over revenue sharing, then out of nowhere the players were making too much money. The owners settled their problem by taking money from the players and did so by manufacturing issues like an 18 game schedule. The players had zero leverage, they could lose a little now by taking a paycut or risk losing everything by calling the owners bluff and possibly lose an entire year's worth of salary. They obviously thought a small paycut was better than getting laid off as most of us would if our employer presented those options to us.

Kessler now back up. Arguing why this falls under Article 14 of CBA (pay for performance) and thus must be heard by system arb

To all the guys providing the updates, 1000+ cocktails to you!

I only have my iPhone right now and don't know where or if I can access the live feed, but either way, I'm enjoying this more than I would the best courtroom drama on film.

Bravo, gentlemen!

I have faith that the judge can get around this. But at least it's putting out there that this whole ordeal is a load of BS, regardless if they are powerless to stop it.

See I don't agree. I feel like the owners don't give a shite one want or the other and would have gladly caved on whether or not Goodell could discipline players solely and without a valid appeals process. It's not a money issue, so the owners wouldn't have cared enough to fight about it and risk losing games, i.e. money.

The players were the only ones that had a reason to make it an issue, and I just don't think the NFLPA or DSmith had the foresight to see something like this coming up.

That is a fireable offense for any union head. Missing a potentially huge drawback for the workers that the owners wouldn't have even put up much of a fight on.
