but frick man. why does hayes have to follow him and ram his car? this all could of been avoided for so many reasons. including smith not leaving the first accident.
i know, its fricked up. Testosterone I guess. I know i become agitated many times on the road, but obviously would never take it to that level. Ive never had someone rear end me though and run. I probably would have followed and confronted them in the past had that happened. Prob not now

I LOVE IT. but hey I'm an LE alter because I stated facts and that video just shut that arse up haha.
Dude was breaking down the stop time and everything

Hard stop? He was still rolling forward when he was hit. That wasn't a hard stop at all.

it almost seems there was something that took place prior or the humvee driver didn't like how close he was driving?
are you people saying this just because your looking for something to support your conspiracy? that was about as normal of a routine stop as it can get...

Again, I said there was video by credible source that had footage of this.
some of you people are ridiculous.
Those cars are driving off at least 20 seconds before the hummer even enters the frame. The first angle shows no less than 50 feet of open space in front of the hummer when he abruptly applies the brake.
I'm not sure what argument you are attempting to make here. Even if Smith intentionally rammed the guy, he still gave chase, rammed him back, started the altercation, and shot Smith.
There isn't a single account, even from Hayes's own attorney that alleges he acted in self defense. Why are we choosing to assume this when no evidence suggests it?

We were getting destroyed by everyone because of their opinion when all we did was state what was reported but it all of sudden is extremely quiet.
I agree with the above poster though, it will come down to what really went down during the confrontation and the fine print in laws.

you wouldn't consider causing an accident then a hit and run as "started the altercation"
of course you wouldnt...

the most important evidence/tesitmonies have not been heard yet.
Hayes' attorney has no reason to claim anything when briefing the media this early in the race. But from what he has said, he is confident there is a 2nd gun, and that witnesses on the scene said Will Smith's behavior left them feeling threatened. You do the math on whether he thinks he'll use the self defense card or not.

Guess it's a good thing I never called you anyone's alter.

Dude. How are you still arguing this???
Have you watch the recent video. Just stop. You're wrong.
The video doesn't mean Smith is guilty so just let it go.

Wrong about what? Whether or not Hayes had to slam on his brakes?
You are acting like this justifies murder.

when did i act like that? We've talked about the hit and run all day, and now that you were wrong about it, you want to pretend like I think that justifies the murder? Where the hell is that coming from?

...and using the two video, how long before the Hummer entered the frame would it have been hit?

once again, nothing in that video illustrates someone slamming on their brakes

In a contest of who can be the most wrong, you are making up ground on Lunchbox. At least he's smart enough to just shut up after being proven wrong.

Tire markings in the road may clear that up later in the trial.
Lyons Yellin stated on the news that the impact from the second accident pushed Smith's SUV and the Impala up the street about 15 feet from original impact.

Has it been determined that there is no video of the actual shooting scene? I hadn't seen one way or the other.

I bet most people in New Orleans would have been relieved to see a car bumping them from behind at midnight flee the scene. My thought to that situation (being bumped from behind late at night in New Orleans) would be that I was about to be the victim of something nefarious. Had I been the driver of the Hummer, I would have acted like it never happened and kept driving trying to get away from the car behind me. The driver must have been very comfortable in his ability to deal with bad actors.
