i didnt realize there was an overhead or more complete side view video that showed the entire area.
where can i find it?

he starts moving :20 after he rear ended him

Why is he stopping in the middle of a street like that?
I don't think the video answers that question one way or another. I'm not dismissing the possibility that he stopped for no reason. But, this video doesn't show one way or another.

That's 100% wrong.

Watch the entirety of the video linked in OP. Everything you need is in it.

I don't agree with you. Stopping that short of the intersection was definitely abnormal, and I think there was more braking force than necessary given what the video shows. There was no reason to stop in front of Juans.
You keep mixing two issues.
I wasn't making the point that he had reason to stop. In fact, I specifically noted that it wasn't clear in the video whether he had reason to stop or not. And, in fact, you responded to that comment. I'm commenting on the rate in which the vehicle was stopping. I don't think it is abnormal. Some in here have said that the driver of the Hummer slammed on the brakes. That's absurd.

you're right, my bad.
:28-:08 = :10.
It was 10 seconds

umm... no it isnt.
and lets say there were no cars at the light. did you honestly not see the worker putting out trash cans? that could certainly be a reason to stop if he was pushing that 1st can out to the street right before the wreck happened. coulda thought dude was about to push the can across the street. who knows... yall apparently have it all figured out though

You idiots in this thread speculating over something that you could never know the answers to at this point in the game need to all settle down.

We should, because there aren't as clearly shown in the video.

But wait, Lester and others are saying that there was nothing abrupt about the stop. You can't have it both ways.

you dont have to slam on your brakes abruptly because you see an object that may be in the roadway shortly

Oh right, he just comes to a normal slow stop for an unexpected object in the road. OK.
