Jesus that roster is pathetic and this draft was pathetic too. We drafted one good player and he was a reach at 9. We wasted our second best pick on a quarterback WE ALL KNOW will never be a NFL starter. We're gonna pick top 5 again next year and go QB then, so we just wasted that pick. For what? A one year rental? Yet, this board rejoices at the incompetence and convinces themselves that the shite sandwich they were just fed, tastes delicious. This franchise will never change and the fans deserve it.

I can’t imagine being this fricking stupid

Isn’t he basically a journeyman player?
Not at all. He is a 27 year old who was drafted and played 4 years for the Titans, starting the last 2 years for them.

I have no idea what the world I was reading yesterday but you are absolutely correct. I thought we were like his 4th team. No idea what I clicked on. Still waiting on my reading glasses to come in. Damn, did all that bitching for nothing. Even had it in my head he was a journeyman before I looked him up yesterday

We really need some offensive weapons but I understand the defensive focus considering we have questions at QB. I'm also glad we didn't burn any assets/ money on older FA

I feel like the worst that could happen is he ends up being a good/ cheap backup QB for 4+ years.

Him being a bad backup then gone is the worst that can happen and even if he's a good backup it means we used a pick where we could easily find an immediate starter on a backup.

How can you get that upset about picking a backup rd 2 for the most important position when most other players you want are also going to start as "backups" anyway.

When is the last time you've seen a team trade a 2nd rd pick for a back up qb?

He didn’t “suck” in college…

I’m not certain what he’ll do with the Saints.

Those other players don't also have a chance of being backups, bad backups, or busts?

They legit both have the same worst case scenario with the QB having the highest ceiling.

Atleast with this pick we are taking a chance instead of a player starting as a backup and not knowing how good he is for 2 years.

This whole season is to prepare us for next year. Our HC hasn't coached a game and has not evaluated our talent yet.

Suck is strong. He wasn't a standout. In 7 years he peaked as honorable mention all conference.

he certainly didn't light it up, either...

and he doesn't have near the arm, nor physical toughness, to be a 2nd coming of Josh Allen, the last mediocre college QB to become better in the NFL...

guess we'll find out how good a QB coach Moore really is b/c up to this point, no one knows... he's benefited from having good QBs to work with already, so we'll see how he can grow one, I guess

PFF could easily be wrong. I trust the new coach until he proves us wrong.
